Our membership in the ECCP has allowed us to understand the pulse of the European business community in the Philippines. This membership has also enabled ING to connect better with European business concerns, and has given ING Bank better insights on the conduct of European businesses in the Philippines. ECCP provides ING the platform to reinforce ING’s relationship and connectivity with both European and Philippine business partners.
Our membership with the ECCP has been a rewarding experience for our organization given their relevant and timely programs and conferences for its members. We have gained a lot from our attendance of the conferences and webinars, giving us a different perspective on the way business is being done here and overseas. Our involvement in the Agricultural Advocacy Committee of the ECCP has provided us with valuable insights on the challenges and opportunities in strengthening the commodity value chains in agricultural communities.

I was pleasantly surprised by the speed and effectiveness of the ECCP to adapt and turn the difficulties of the pandemic into an opportunity. It has been a productive, impactful and fun ride with ECCP the past 12 years. It was very challenging but productive to chair the ECCP Women in Business Committee. We made a mark by highlighting that women in business are more than ready to continue demanding more seats, space and voice at the table. The founding of Lobien Realty Group is my best personal example. The impact is noticeable by the growing number of participants in this Committee. ECCP and the WBC have become an avenue for women members to learn from each other, seek mentors and friends, network with other women business leaders.
