ABOUT US

We bridge markets and create opportunities for European and Philippine businesses.

Founded in 1978, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) is a multilateral chamber with over 900 members and a strong presence across key regions in the Philippines. We advocate for fair and forward-looking economic policies, support market access through expert business consultancy and human capital development, and connect members to a dynamic network of stakeholders locally and abroad to drive growth and foster collaboration across sectors.

OUR POLICY AND ADVOCACY WORK

We shape policies and advocate for reforms that enable fair, sustainable, and competitive markets.

Through regular dialogues with government agencies and the release of timely position papers and whitebooks, we influence key policies and reforms that enhance the ease of doing business and drive regulatory improvements. The Chamber’s 24 sector committees, led by private sector leaders, provide a platform for members to collaborate, address industry-specific challenges, and ensure that the voice of the European-Philippine business community is heard in decisions shaping the economic landscape.

TESTIMONIALS

Mr. Angel Michael Evangelista

Bayer Philippines, Inc.

Bayer has been in the Philippines for over 60 years, and as one of the founding members of the ECCP, it has been a productive 45 years of shared growth for the company and the Philippines. Through the ECCP, we have been able to reach out to important public and private institutions, helping us live out our purpose of Science for a Better Life and bringing us closer towards the Bayer vision of Health for All, Hunger for None. To the ECCP and its members, let us celebrate 45 years of successful partnership and we look forward to seeing future decades of even greater success as we bring our companies and the Philippines to even greater heights.

Ederine Gee Geneblazo

Rentokil Initial Philippines, Inc.

As a global company based in the UK, being a member of a well-known chamber is a good start. It compliments your reputation and credibility and it also helps in making connections with local and multinational companies in the Philippines. The ECCP has extended more than that, from the steady access of information and policies, industry trends, to the most relevant issues. The ECCP has provided an avenue for opportunities and partnership. We are a proud member of the ECCP and we continue to stay true to our commitment in protecting people and enhancing lives with the help of partners like them.

Lilibet Amatong

Publicus Asia, Inc.

We pride ourselves in claiming Publicus Asia, Inc. as the first, and probably still is the only registered lobbying firm in the Philippines. We need to be always abreast with issues and national policy directions. ECCP provides a venue to elevate economic and political discourses clinically. ECCP is not only responsive, but even anticipates its membership’s needs. Most importantly, ECCP offers a respite that maintains a steady flow of positive energies that is easily contagious --a much-needed reserve to keep us on course to recovery and be confident in meeting new realities.

Sheila Lobien

Lobien Realty Group

It has been a productive, impactful and fun ride with ECCP the past 12 years. It was very challenging but productive to chair the ECCP Women in Business Committee. We made a mark by highlighting that women in business are more than ready to continue demanding more seats, space and voice at the table. The founding of Lobien Realty Group is my best personal example. The impact is noticeable by the growing number of participants in this Committee. ECCP and the WBC have become an avenue for women members to learn from each other, seek mentors and friends, network with other women business leaders.

Maria Celestina Lee

Ipsos Inc.

We have always regarded the ECCP as an important partner. It is a consistent source of information on policies, business news, and potential alliances with other organizations. During the pandemic, our partnership with them grew from strength to strength, united by a common purpose: providing businesses with accurate and relevant information to help members make informed decisions. We will continue to collaborate with the ECCP in webinars about changing consumer attitudes & behavior, improving customer experience, and the socio-economic forces, sparking conversations with fellow members.

Gabriel D. Medina

Asian Bridge Express Inc.

I would like to express my unwavering support to all the policies, trainings and advocacies that the ECCP is aiming to successfully achieve; the goal to continuously be a platform of ideas, ideals, and where like-minded individuals and organizations can meet, collaborate and grow. Through the non-stop trainings, seminars and meetings where we discuss, tackle and hopefully find solutions to the problems that we, as a global community, are facing no matter what industry or walk of life. I have no doubt that being part of this community is an asset that my company and I value.
