The ECCP has extended more than that, from the steady access of information and policies, industry trends, to the most relevant issues. We pride ourselves in claiming Publicus Asia, Inc. as the first, and probably still is the only registered lobbying firm in the Philippines. We need to be always abreast with issues and national policy directions. ECCP provides a venue to elevate economic and political discourses clinically. ECCP is not only responsive, but even anticipates its membership’s needs. Most importantly, ECCP offers a respite that maintains a steady flow of positive energies that is easily contagious --a much-needed reserve to keep us on course to recovery and be confident in meeting new realities.
It has been a productive, impactful and fun ride with ECCP the past 12 years. It was very challenging but productive to chair the ECCP Women in Business Committee. We made a mark by highlighting that women in business are more than ready to continue demanding more seats, space and voice at the table. The founding of Lobien Realty Group is my best personal example. The impact is noticeable by the growing number of participants in this Committee. ECCP and the WBC have become an avenue for women members to learn from each other, seek mentors and friends, network with other women business leaders.
We have always regarded the ECCP as an important partner. It is a consistent source of information on policies, business news, and potential alliances with other organizations. During the pandemic, our partnership with them grew from strength to strength, united by a common purpose: providing businesses with accurate and relevant information to help members make informed decisions. We will continue to collaborate with the ECCP in webinars about changing consumer attitudes & behavior, improving customer experience, and the socio-economic forces, sparking conversations with fellow members.
