Through its strong relationship with the government, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines is able to support member companies by facilitating market access and working on the creation of a level playing field for both European and Filipino companies alike.
The ECCP's 24 sector committees convene to discuss cross-cutting and specific issues, listing key recommendations on actions needed to support market access for European businesses, and enable long-term economic welfare for the Philippines. Below are our advocacy wins in 2023.

“Building institutions and developing human resources capacity are the key accomplishments of the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) established in 2002. ECCP believes the strategic relevance of the agency as an important partner to bridge the public and private sectors in uplifting the socio-economic condition of the Bangsamoro carrying its new brand as BDA Inc. ECCP and BDA Inc. acknowledge the role of the private sector to boost the economic status of the Bangsamoro communities. During the global health pandemic, ECCP demonstrates its leadership by keeping its members intact and resilient.“
“It has been a productive, impactful and fun ride with ECCP the past 12 years. It was very challenging but productive to chair the ECCP Women in Business Committee. We made a mark by highlighting that women in business are more than ready to continue demanding more seats, space and voice at the table. The founding of Lobien Realty Group is my best personal example. The impact is noticeable by the growing number of participants in this Committee. ECCP and the WBC have become an avenue for women members to learn from each other, seek mentors and friends, network with other women business leaders.“
“The ECCP allowed us to engage with other multinationals in the industry. The ECCP’s value during the pandemic emerged as it swiftly provided relevant business tools: centralized, consistent, and accurate information through newsletters, opportunities for conversations through webinars, and insightful studies. There is a palpable feeling that the ECCP genuinely exists to aid the business community during these times. As a member for 24 years, All Transport Network’s benefits with the ECCP have evolved over the years; it is a testament to how our partnership grows together and remains relevant.“
“We are grateful that T.I.P is a member of the ECCP because of the value-adding sharing from the ECCP webinars. The webinars have provided critical and vital information needed by an institution to survive this pandemic and still remain strong after. The learnings have made us better equipped to perform reengineered duties in this new normal.T.I.P. shall continue to be an active partner of ECCP. We look forward to more engagements with the organization, especially towards more networking and partnership opportunities with its nearly 800 members.“
“Our partnership has always been one of our dependable avenues when it comes to expanding our network and fostering new partnerships, especially as a key player in a highly competitive and dynamic space. In the several initiatives we have been a part of, we have had profound and valuable experiences that helped shape how we do our business in MPower. As the paradigm on the energy industry continues to shift, we put more value in our involvement in ECCP’s dedicated Energy Committee as they continue to lead meaningful dialogues and pursue endeavors relevant to the changing landscape we are in.“
“As a global company based in the UK, being a member of a well-known chamber is a good start. It compliments your reputation and credibility and it also helps in making connections with local and multinational companies in the Philippines. The ECCP has extended more than that, from the steady access of information and policies, industry trends, to the most relevant issues. The ECCP has provided an avenue for opportunities and partnership. We are a proud member of the ECCP and we continue to stay true to our commitment in protecting people and enhancing lives with the help of partners like them.“
