Philippine Travels Agency Association (PTAA) President Aileen Clemente served as one of the resource persons during the Joint Foreign Chambers (JFC) Arangkada Philippines Forum on January 26 in Pasay City.

Clemente tackled the JFC’s “Seven Big Winners” which the foreign chambers believed would spur growth in the economy and create more jobs in the country. She also discussed the tourism industry including its fast rising medical travel and retirement components.

Clemente was joined in the panel bu Cargill Philippines Inc. country representative Philip Soliven, Business Process Association of the Philippines chairman Fred Ayala, European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines vice president for external affairs Henry Schumacher, Royal Cargo Combined Logistics president Michael Raeuber, Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Inc. chairman Norberto Viera, and TVI Resource Development Inc. chief operating officer John Ridsel.

The JFC initiated forum, which was participated by government leaders and private sector executives, served as an assessment of the current status of foreign direct investments in the country.

The PTAA, with more than 500 member companies nationwide, has been an ally of the government in the promotion of the country’s tourism industry.
