The ECCP is looking for an Advocacy Officer to join the Chamber!
The Advocacy Officer will work closely with the Director for Advocacy and Government Affairs and the Industry and Government Affairs Manager in the conduct of his/her duties and responsibilities, as follows:
Identify, monitor, and research current and relevant emerging advocacy issues, and apprise internal stakeholders and members of these developments and their impact on the European-Philippine business community;
Organize ECCP Industry committee meetings and other committee-related activities;
Coordinate external meetings and liaise with advocacy partners and government officials;
Handle Advocacy Committees in coordination with the Advocacy Team
Maintain committee databases, mailing lists, trackers, shared calendars, and other advocacy records.
Support advocacy-led events, committee activities, special projects, and post-activity documentation.
Assist in monitoring department deliverables, KPI updates, and internal reporting requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, International Relations, Development Studies, Legal Management, Business, or related fields.
Strong research, writing, editing, and coordination skills.
Good understanding of Philippine government, legislation, public policy, or business regulations is an advantage.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Professional communication skills and ability to coordinate with different stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Prior experience in policy research, government affairs, business chambers, associations, development organizations, or legislative work is an advantage.
