In 2009, the Filipino Scientist, Inventor, and Certified Naturopath, Mr. Richard Nixon Gomez established a pharmaceutical trading company The GlobaLeader Inc. (TGLI), located at Ortigas Center. This company markets food supplements and related pharmaceutical products. Dr. Gomez, together with his son Rigel Gomez, is the inventor, scientist, and patent holder of TGLI products in 126 countries and territories. The products are also FDA-approved in the Philippines, USA, and Germany. One of their products, PiCUR, is the first and only Philippine-made food supplement that is approved by the German Government for over-the-counter selling. Later on, Mr. Gomez realized a ten-year endeavor with the establishment of the BauerTek Corporation – a 100% Filipino-owned research, development, and production facility for all-natural herbal supplements which are years ahead of the norm in the pharmaceutical industry in the country. BauerTek Corporation was registered under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 2017. Afterward, the production building was established and inaugurated on 16 December 2019 at its main facility located at 9001 Kabilang Bakood, Sta. Rita, Guiguinto, Bulacan. It started operation in 2020. BauerTek Corp. is a pharmaceutical facility licensed to manufacture drugs, food supplements, cosmetics, disinfectants, and other related products by the FDA of DOH. It is also GMP certified for Food and Drug Manufacturing, and Halal certified. The company has strategic partnerships with DOST, DA, and SUCs in the development of moringa and turmeric varieties and plantations. The company works with Filipino-owned plantations and government-managed growing areas, such as the ISU, MMSU, and NEUST-Gabaldon.
