The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) together with the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Deutschen Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH held the 1st Philippine German Solar Energy Forum in Makati City on November 21, 2011 and in Cebu City on November 24, 2011.

Vice President Dr. Guenter Matschuck (right) during the Makati forum.  The forum was part of the German government's initiative: "renewables -- Made in Germany" program which seeks to introduce new technology to countries that have been identified as having rich renewable energy potential.
