Last April 12, 2018, the ECCP with the Joint Foreign Chambers held a meeting with the Department of Labor and Employment Undersecretary Claro Arellano and Undersecretary Ciriaco Lagungzad. Among the issues discussed were the number of non-working holidays, the impact of the crackdown on contracts on the BPO industry, and concerns regarding labor unions.
