Last 10 February, the ECCP Healthcare Committee met with the political and legislative staff of Sen. Chistopher Lawrence "Bong" Go, Senate Health & Demography Committee Chairperson, and Senate President Pro Tempore Ralph Recto, to talk about salient health measures including the implementation of the Universal Health Care Act and Malasakit Center Act, and how the public and private sectors can partner in achieving the objectives of such health policies. The group also received updates on the health legislative priorities and presented its advocacies on promoting access to life-saving medicines.
