ECCP participated in the JFC Roundtable Discussion on FDI. The group received presentations from Geneva-based UNCTAD economic officer Dr. Kee Hwee Wee, former NCC private sector chair Bill Luz, and Cong. Sharon Garin. This was followed by a discussion on the challenges in attracting foreign investment to the Philippines, prospects for FDI inflows in Southeast Asia, and recommendations on how best to maximize potential new FDI in the future.
