The ECCP hosted the Energy Smart Forum on Promoting Renewable Energy Solutions for a Greener Future last 13 October 2020, with speakers Atty. Monalisa Dimalanta of the National Renewable Energy Board, Mr. Gaspar Escobar Jr. of the Department of Energy, Atty. Jose Layug Jr. of the Developers of Renewable Energy for AdvanceMent Inc., and Mr. Randy Del Valle of Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation. At this Forum, the speakers and participants exchanged dialogues on the role of the renewable energy sector in economic development and stability, the thrust of the Philippine government in promoting renewable energy in the country, as well as various initiatives from stakeholders in transitioning to the increased use of clean and sustainable energy resources.
