We hope you are staying safe.

Supertyphoon Rolly (international name, Goni), the most powerful storm of 2020 to date, poses a major threat to the lives of as many as 20M Filipino children and their families. We need your support to ensure that these children survive, learn, and are protected.

At 4:50am, November 1, Rolly made landfall over Bato, Catanduanes, packing maximum sustained winds of 225 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 310 kph. Storm Signal No. 5 was hoisted over Albay and Catanduanes this morning. The supertyphoon will continue to bring violent winds and torrential rainfall as it passes through the Luzon landmass and emerges over the Philippine Sea by Monday morning.

Save the Children is prepared to respond to the needs of children and families affected by Rolly.
