Last 4 December, the ECCP held its last 2020 Energy Smart Forum, entitled Sustainable Off-Grid Electrification Models, which covered initiatives that are being taken by various energy stakeholders to promote electrification in remote and off-grid areas, as well as bottlenecks that need to be addressed. Among the speakers at this dialogue were National Electrification Administration Director Ernesto Silvano and National Renewable Energy Board Chairperson Monalisa Dimalanta. This Forum was co-presented with the EU-Access to Sustainable Energy Programme, and sponsored by Shell Philippines and Wartsila Philippines.
