Meeting with the Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez | 4 December 2020 | The ECCP joined other business groups and industry associations in its second virtual meeting with Secretary Ramon Lopez of the Department of Trade and Industry to exchange insights on holiday business activity (i.e. easing of some COVID-19 restrictions during holidays including the lowering of age limits permitted to go out in public places). Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles also presented updates on the Pilipinas Kontra Gutom movement -- a joint initiative of the public and private sector to combat involuntary hunger and malnutrition in the country and forms part of the government’s newly implemented National Food Policy.
