Job Position: Advocacy Officer
Job Type: Full-time
Duties and Responsibilities
The Advocacy Officer will work closely with the ECCP Associate Director for Government and International Affairs and the Industry and Government Affairs Manager in the conduct of his/her duties and responsibilities, as follows:
- Identify, monitor, and research current and relevant emerging advocacy issues, and apprise internal stakeholders and members of these developments and their impact on the European- Philippine business community;
- Organise ECCP industry committee meetings and other committee-related activities;
- Coordinate external meetings and liaise with advocacy partners and government officials; and
- Handle Advocacy Committees in coordination with the Advocacy Team;
Relevant Experience and Requirements
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in social science.
- Have at least two to three years of relevant work experience.
- Must be skilled in research and analysis.
- Effective report-writing and communication skills in English.
- Must be familiar with local current events.
- Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high volume of work in tight time constraints without loss of accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams.
