Manila, Philippines – Teleperformance (TP), the global leader in outsourced customer experience management services, recently launched the Cloud Campus microsite in San Nicolas near Laoag City in Ilocos Norte. This milestone also marks the opening of TP’s 23rd business site in the Philippines.
Teleperformance Cloud Campus, which was launched in 2021, is an innovative long-term remote work solution that allows home-based interaction experts to remain connected to their Teleperformance team through the Cloud Campus hubs, which come with high tech features to help employees stay engaged, while maintaining operational efficiency.
Meanwhile, brands can easily expand their business and deliver superior customer experiences through Teleperformance’s unique, cloud-centric program. The solution overall reduces operations disruption for businesses while enabling employees to work wherever they want.
The Cloud Campus microsite in Ilocos Norte is located at the 3rd floor of the Viven Hotel in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte. This site will open more jobs for residents of the Ilocos region and hopes to contribute to the capability building and economic growth of the province.
“We are again unfolding another milestone today through the launching of the Teleperformance Cloud Campus microsite in our beloved municipality, which would provide again employment opportunities not only for our people here in San Nicolas but also to the whole of Ilocos Norte and to the nearby provinces. This will definitely boost the municipality’s economy thereby eventually improving the lives of every San Nicoleño,” shared San Nicolas Municipal Vice Mayor Edistio P. Valdez who was present during the launch.
Teleperformance Philippines Chief Operations Officer Jose Luis “Joey” Marquez also shared, “Opening our 23rd business site here in Ilocos Norte is on the top of our growth strategies for 2022. I’m very proud to say that Ilocos Norte will now experience the Cloud Campus microsite. Our customer management experts will be able to work wherever they live, and live wherever they love.”
Additionally, the newest business site is also part of Teleperformance’s commitment to providing more career opportunities to Filipinos by supporting the Digital Cities 2025 program by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
The program aims to generate over a hundred thousand local jobs in identified cities and provinces by 2025, including Laoag City and the Ilocos Norte province. DICT identified the region as an ideal investment spot due to its strategic location and a large and educated human resource pool who are at par with major cities in the Philippines.
