On 30 April, the ECCP hosted its 9th Sustainable Agriculture Forum in Makati City, Metro Manila, bringing together key leaders from the government, private sector, and development institutions. Anchored on the theme “Cultivating Resilience: Advancing Food Security and Climate-Smart Growth in Philippine Agriculture,” the forum served as a high-level platform to explore innovative strategies and climate-smart practices aimed at driving a more resilient, productive, and sustainable agricultural sector.
The event featured a powerful lineup of public and private sector experts, including from the Department of Agriculture, the Philippine Coconut Authority, and key industry leaders from the ASEAN Business Advisory Council and the ECCP Agriculture Committee. Through collaborative panel discussions, the forum emphasized the critical importance of emerging technologies, collective stakeholder impact, and localized framework integration to bolster support for farmers and secure long-term food safety across the region.
