With a record of 50 corporate teams expected to compete, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) is set to hold the eight installment of its annual football cup at Alabang Country Club in Muntinlupa.

To be held on April 28, the one-day competition is being organized in partnership with former Azkals football player Armand Del Rosario and will feature the men’s and mixed team divisions.

Using the 7-aside format, the competition will be divided into four groups playing a single round robin format with the top teams advancing to the semifinal round. Playing for 20 minutes in each game, the tournament will award three points for the winner, one point for a tie, and zero points for the losing team.

All teams in the tournament are allowed to have a maximum of 15 players with a minimum of three female members for the mixed division. Each team will have seven players on the football field and mixed teams have at least one female player on the field at all times.
