Every European country has its annual "FIESTA" with, much like in the Philippines, its share of good food and drinks, cheer and camaraderie.

We are pleased to introduce to you the annual Scandinavian Crayfish Party, a grand fiesta organized by the Scandinavian Society Philippines (SSP) on September 21, 2013 at the Sunset Pavilion, Sofitel Philippine Plaza.

This year’s event is designed as a FUNdraiser for the Chosen Children Village Foundation. The village is a home for abandoned physically and mentally challenged children in Cavite. All proceeds from the Scandinavian Crayfish Party will be donated to Chosen Children Village Foundation.

The Scandinavian Crayfish Party is an excellent venue for sponsors to reach a target market of expatriates in Manila. This year, target number of participants is 250. Sponsors are provided multi-channel opportunities to profile themselves and their products to the audience before, during and after the party, including media-mileage.

Below is a letter from Mr. Guenter Taus, President of the Chosen Children Village Board of Trustees:

Dear Sponsors, Donors and Guests,

It is with great honour and gratitude to be chosen by Mr. Bo Lundquist, President of the Scandinavian Society for Chosen Children Village (CCV) to be the sole beneficiary of all the proceeds of the 2013 Crayfish festival.

We at CCV are grateful yet again, as the Scandinavian Society has supported us throughout the years and we appreciate the continued efforts.

To give you a little background, CCV was founded about 25 years ago by Ms. Lita Fullerton (and yes, she is still very active and visible in all undertakings) and we are home to (currently) 78 mentally and physically severely handicapped children, ranging from 2 months to 19 years in age. We are located in Cavite, near Tagaytay (see us online at www.chosenchildrenvillage.org) and we welcome you all anytime for a visit to interact with our Children.
