Iloilo has been one of the most robust and fastest rising cities in the Philippines. It is highly accessible and serves as the gateway to the Visayas not only because of its air/seaports, but also because of its proximity to nearby, prominent provinces and cities including Bacolod, Guimaras, Antique, Roxas, Kalibo, and Aklan (Boracay). Thus, as commercial activities continue to expand, the developing metropolis has earned itself the reputation of being a rising economic powerhouse and attractive regional investment hub in the country.

Iloilo has transformed into an attractive property investment destination in the Visayas due to its thriving BPO industry and in-demand condo developments, among many factors. A real estate hotspot in the Philippines, various investors, both foreign and local, are pouring billions of pesos that sustain its economy, generate jobs, and even increase the spending ability of the Ilonggos. Iloilo's growing dynamism and the rest of the region has made it a prime property investment location. If the opportunity to expand in other key regions arise, it will be much easier to do so in this city, given its accessible and promising destination.

This event entitled, "Iloilo Rising: The Future of Business and Investments in the Philippines", organized by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) - Western Visayas will provide the audience an avenue for discussions of professional insights, diverse viewpoints, accurate forecasts, as well as collaborative efforts shared by various stakeholders actively engaged in real estate developments, investments, properties, and projects. Moreover, it will also introduce the real estate and space availability status of Iloilo in terms of land, property, building, and the like, as well as a glimpse with regard to the status of other related industries to the topic this 2023.
