For over four decades, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) has developed ties with the Philippine government and has actively advocated for reforms to make the Philippines a more competitive destination for local and foreign investments. Moreover, the Chamber has been deeply involved in sustainability-related advocacies covering energy, water management, and circular economy, among others.

In continuation of the Chamber's sustainability-related advocacies and in line with the European Commission's efforts on the European Green Deal and the Philippines' long-term goal to attain AmBisyon Natin 2040, the ECCP is organizing its third installment of the Europa Awards on 11 October 2023, 3:00 - 8:00 PM in Raffles and Fairmont Makati. The event aims to promote and recognize companies with exceptional performance and contributions in promoting sustainability in line with global standards and the Philippine Development Plan.
