This gathering is designed especially for the esteemed members and distinguished guests of ECCP-Cebu, and it will be a whole day filled with wonderful experiences and lasting connections. This event is composed of three (4) main event highlights: (1) Sustainability Reporting and Global Standardization Forum, (2) ECCP-Security and Exchange Commission Memorandum of Agreement Signing, (3) Launching & Induction of ECCP Cebu Business Council, and (4) European Festive Socials.

The Tourism and Aviation, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, Real Estate and Construction, Disaster Risk Reduction, Human Capital, and Finance industries have become significant pillars of the Philippine economy. The growth of the industries led to various commercial opportunities for different sectors and economic opportunities for many individuals. However, in pursuit of economic growth, the sustainable development of the industries has become a challenge to overcome.

To solve the multi-faceted hindrances to sustainability, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) released Memorandum Circular No. 4, which asserts the significance of the compliance of companies in the transparent reporting of sustainability issues, which involves the Economic, Environmental, Social, and Governance (EESG) facets of their businesses. The plenary shall start by discussing the current situation of the Tourism and aviation, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, Real Estate and Construction, Disaster Risk Reduction, Human Capital, and Finance industries concerning their sustainable practices. It shall also explore the importance of the disclosure of these practices for further improvement and solutions. Ultimately, it shall examine the value of the cooperation and collaboration of these companies for the long-term impacts of sustainable actions for the industries and the nation.
