Iligan, being the City of Majestic Waterfalls and considered the battery of Mindanao, continues to be a promising city in Northern Mindanao for business and investments. With the proactive thrust of the present administration led by its Mayor, Hon. Frederick Siao, the city is now focusing on digitalization and foreign investments. Currently, Iligan is improving its digitalization and connectivity efforts to entice more businesses to invest in the city, especially highlighting the city's incentives of providing new and existing enterprises with Tax Holidays for up to 9 years on Real Property Taxes and Business Taxes.

With this, the ECCP Northern Mindanao in partnership with member Iligan City Local Government Unit, is conducting a virtual investment forum called "The City of Waterfalls: Go Right and Invest in Iligan City" on June 24, 2024 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM, via Zoom. This forum aims to (1) facilitate virtual investment opportunities between European investors and Iligan LGU, (2) promote economic growth and development through strategic partnerships, and (3) enhance collaboration and knowledge exchange between European businesses and Iligan LGU.
