In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, the Philippines has become a vibrant hub of connectivity, fueled by widespread social media use, mobile device penetration, and a strong digital infrastructure. While these advancements bring opportunities for innovation and communication, they also expose individuals to challenges such as the rapid spread of misinformation, cybersecurity risks, and concerns over privacy and data protection.
This program, Digital Literacy for Filipinos: Fighting Mis-/Disinformation, Empowering the Self in Cyberspace, seeks to address these issues by equipping participants with the skills to critically evaluate information, adopt cybersecurity best practices, and engage responsibly online. By fostering digital literacy, this training aims to build a more secure and informed online community, empowering Filipinos to navigate the digital age with confidence and resilience.
