ECCP Coffee Mornings with the MSMEs (Session 7: Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency)

06 August 2026 | 8:00 am - 9:30 am

The transition to renewable and sustainable energy is creating new opportunities for businesses across the Philippines. As the country works to strengthen energy security, reduce dependence on traditional energy sources, and meet its sustainability commitments, demand is growing for renewable energy solutions, energy-efficient technologies, and smart energy innovations. This shift presents significant opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to participate in emerging energy value chains, support infrastructure development, and contribute to the country's clean energy transition.

Europe remains a global leader in renewable energy technologies, sustainable infrastructure, and energy innovation. Through Europe-Philippines partnerships, Philippine MSMEs can gain access to new technologies, investment opportunities, industry expertise, and business networks that can accelerate growth and competitiveness in the energy sector.

This session focuses on key segments of the renewable and sustainable energy ecosystem, including renewable energy generation, energy efficiency, smart energy technologies, and sustainable infrastructure. In line with the upcoming SMART Energy Forum, the discussion will provide MSMEs with insights into industry trends, market opportunities, policy developments, and potential collaborations that can support business growth while advancing a more sustainable and resilient energy future.
