Cebu Companies to Sizzle in 6th ECCP Football Cup

Cebu will once again experience one hell of a summer as companies, foreign and local alike, will once again battle neck to neck in the 6^th ECCP Football Cup on May 13, 2012 at the Cebu International School Football Field.

Organized by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, the Football Cup serves twofold: to further promote this European sport to the Filipinos, which was highlighted by our very own Azkals, and to encourage camaraderie and team spirit among the business sector. With an exciting mix of players ranging from top to lower management, this friendly tournament will be a fun-filled day of sports, food and networking. And as a way to heighten up our, the event intends to bring the sport closer to the Filipinos and serve as a healthier lifestyle to our growing professional population.

Interested companies should form a football team with a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 15 players and should include all professional levels in the company (from CEO to messenger). Players must be hired at least 3 months prior to the actual game whilst children of the CEO and board members who are at least 15 years old are eligible to join given that they have parental consent.

Men’s and Ladies’ teams from interested companies will have to grab the championship titles possessed by defending champions NCR Men’s and Convergys Ladies’. These two giants brought home the bacon leaving 18 other men’s team and 2 other ladies’ team hungry for more battle at the field.

The ECCP Football Cup is designed to bring the European sport closer to the Filipinos, serve as a healthier lifestyle to our growing professional population and provide networking and team building opportunities for the participating companies and organizations. 

FORM YOUR OWN TEAM AND REGISTER NOW!

• Open to all companies both members and non-members of ECCP
• Form a team with a minimum of 7 and maximum of 15 players
• All players should be employees of the registered company 
• Each company can send a maximum of 4 teams to participate, 2 for Men's Division and 2 for Ladies' Division 
• The tournament is played 7-a-side.
