Saravia Blue Crab, Inc.

SaraviaBlue Crab, Inc. is a seafood processor and exporter located in Western Visayas in the Philippines. Saravia Blue C rab, Inc. (SBCI) was established in 2009 and owns or operates two crab processing plants situated in the City of Bacolod, Negros Occidental and the Municipality of Concepcion, Iloilo. By the end of 2020, SBCI has produced and exported over 8,000,000 lbs. of pasteurized crabmeat under the labels Heron Point, Harbor Seafood, Stone Harbor, Empire’s Treasure, Jack’s Catch, BlueStar, and its own label, Saravia Blue. These were exported to markets in the United States, Canada, Taiwan, Hongkong, and Singapore. It has also embarked on developing the Philippine market in 2017. In its over 10 years of exporting pasteurized crab meat, SBCI has maintained its unblemished record of 100% acceptance by the government regulatory agencies and buyers in its export markets. Saravia Blue Crab Incorporated Concepcion is an owned plant situated at D.B Oñate St., Brgy. Poblacion, Concepcion, Iloilo started its operation last March 11, 2015 with LTO number 3000002138249. The plant evolved from the idea of putting a plant close to its supplying partners and the need to help affected people of 2013 devastating typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) that hit most of the Visayas. Similar to the pioneering plant in Bacolod, SBCI Concepcion prioritized the employment of hearing-impaired individuals to perform production floor activities.
