The Committee discussed the following:

1. Bureau of Customs issues

-- Mr. Antonio Pascual, the collector for the Metro Manila Port, was asked to attend the meeting as a resource speaker for the Bureau of Customs. Salient points of his presentation include the thrust of the BOC in putting the facilitation of trade as the number one priority and the new guidelines regarding the lodging of the Provisional Goods Declaration. 

2. Food Additives: Issues and Updates

-- Committee Chairperson Helen Baisa met with Marilyn Pagayunan of the CFRR to discuss the recently updated list of food additives, the results of this discussion were shared with the Committee.
