Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handles all external and internal communications via the organization's website, social and digital media, and direct e-mailers;
- Directly involved in the promotion and ensuring the success of the organization's events alongside other departments through pre, during, and post-event technical support;
- Works closely with the Executive Director and Advocacy Manager to ensure that the communication planning is maintained, up to date, and communicated to all employees;
- Handles the production of the organization's bi-monthly magazine, membership directory, and marketing collaterals;
- Acts as a point of contact for communications requests, and respond to telephone/email inquiries as appropriate;
- Obtains information, responding to requests, and draft communications as require;
- Supports the Marketing Officer by guiding and reviewing her efforts in selling advertisements for all print and online publication;
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years relevant experience in a communications role.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms.
