Position: Competency Program Officer
Reporting to: Director of Operations
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall implementation of ECCP training programs, including:
- Identifying and assessing current and future training needs of members and clients.
- Creating and managing the annual training calendar and budget.
- Fostering client relations and representation.
- Overseeing the implementation of training programs, including assigning and monitoring tasks.
- Preparing training proposals and the annual training brochure.
- Expanding the pool of facilitators, training providers, and potential clients.
- Managing and executing on-site training.
- Maintaining a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices.
- Assisting in other ECCP activities that may require expertise or skills as needed.
- Supporting the implementation of ECCP participation in assigned projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Development, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- 2-3 years of work experience, with a focus on developing and implementing training programs preferred.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel for on-site training and amenable to hybrid work setup.
