This LGU Business Forum is aimed at getting a better understanding of the aspirations and challenges of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Local Government Units (LGU) and the Civil Service Commission (CSC) as well as identify the areas where the business sector and civil society organizations could collaborate with DILG/LGUs/CSC to ensure that regions/localities become attractive destinations for investments and trade as well as to achieve inclusive growth in the process of economic development

As this is the first opportunity for the business sector and civil society to have a dialogue with the new administration officials, DILG Undersecretary Austere Panadero and Civil Service Commission Director Maria Luisa Agamata will share their views on DILG’s and CSC’s challenges and plans towards ensuring the investment attractiveness and global competitiveness of Philippine regions and localities as well as in achieving inclusive growth in the localities.
